Our Mission

In February of 2021, Axway, Inc announced that they would no longer be actively maintaining the Titanium SDK. As the Titanium SDK is an open source project with a healthy development community as well as long-term corporate users, a few developers within the Titanium ecosystem joined together organizing a plan to keep the Titanium SDK actively maintained for the foreseeable future.

This effort was formally organized as “TiDev, Inc” in February of 2021. Just a few days after the announcement from Axway. TiDev operates as a non-profit software foundation organized in accordance with section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code and is registered with the Alabama Secretary of State office.

A brief list of our goals

In pursuit of these goals, we invest monthly donations with experienced qualified engineers to make sure the open-source Titanium projects receive frequent patches and support as needed. This ensures Titanium remains viable for all levels of business projects and can be depended on for the long-term.

Keep the Titanium SDK as bug-free as possible, and supported as new iOS and Android OS versions are released by Apple and Google.

Organize efforts to not just maintain our existing Titanium developer community, but grow the community through sponsored blog posts, video tutorials, conferences, and other community outreach efforts.

Provide organizations and individuals that depend on the Titanium ecosystem with the peace of mind that an organized effort is in place to properly steward this open source software and keep it running at prime condition for years to come.

Make sure that new features introduced into the iOS and Android ecosystems are fully supported within Titanium as quickly as possible.
